Dr. Freddy Ruiz
Dr. Freddy has always had a passion for helping others - not just in relieving pain but in empowering people to live healthier, higher quality of lives. His commitment to helping others has led him to earn an Associates degree in Kinesiology from Allan Hancock College and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton. He continued his education by moving to Pasadena, Texas to attend Texas Chiropractic College, where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic.
With a firm foundation in kinesiology, musculoskeletal system, and the nervous system, Dr. Freddy takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to chiropractic care. As a former athlete, he understands the importance of biomechanics, injury prevention, and recovery strategies. This experience and strategy allows him to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance, helping patients not only recover from pain but also help them prevent against future injuries.
Beyond his professional career, Dr. Freddy is passionate about living an active lifestyle. His favorite athletic activities are basketball, weightlifting, yoga, and hiking. When he’s not in the office or gym, he enjoys playing video games, watching movies/tv shows, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Dr. Freddy has an unrelenting dedication to make a meaningful impact on as many lives as possible for the people of the central coast. Whether its working with athletes to enhance performance, helping individuals overcome chronic pain, or guiding patients to feeling better, his goal remains the same: to help people move better, feel better, and live a higher quality of life.
